When the current generation Ford Ranger Raptor was launched in the Philippines last year, it came with a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine that’s also in the Ranger Wildtrak and Everest Titanium 4×4. Let’s just say that, even though we consider it to be the best truck you can buy, its capabilities will only be fully taken advantage of if it has an engine to match. Finally, for the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor, Ford Philippines is now bringing in the engine that this pickup always deserved.

That’s because the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 is now going to be offered in the Philippine-market Ranger Raptor. This mighty engine, at least in the ASEAN region, produces 392 horsepower and 562 Nm of torque and is mated to a familiar 10-speed automatic. This is also matched with twin exhausts that are accompanied by a loud bark and growl that finally matches the pickup’s character.
By adding the twin-turbo V6, the rest of the chassis and suspension have also been upgraded. The four-wheel drive (4WD) system gets a two-speed transfer case, a proper front and rear electronic differential lock, along with seven drive modes: Normal, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Mud/Ruts, Sand, and Baja. The V6 Ranger Raptor also had the new Ford Performance-tuned 2.5-inch Fox Live Valve Shocks, which is an upgrade over the passive dampers of the Ranger Raptor diesel’s Fox shocks.
In addition, the Ranger Raptor also gets an active-valve twin-pipe exhaust system with different modes. Quiet is meant for early-morning startups, while Normal is for everyday use while still offering a bit of aural presence. Sport mode offers a louder note, while Baja is the most extreme of all these modes in terms of noise and performance.

Now, as for the rest of the package, the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor V6’s exterior and interior looks remain unchanged. However, those who step inside the V6 Ranger Raptor will notice the new B&O sound system–an upgrade over the Ranger Raptor diesel’s standard six-speaker sound system.

Pricing for the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor starts at P2,739,000 for the V6, while the 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel still retails for P2,360,000. That’s excellent pricing for what is essentially the Ranger Raptor with the same engine as the Bronco Raptor in the United States, but there’s a huge caveat for those interested. Only 300 units will be sold, so if you’re interested, you better hurry up to your nearest Ford dealership.
