2026 Suzuki Jimny With Advanced Safety Suite Now In PH

The 2026 Suzuki Jimny receives its most comprehensive changes yet, as it now comes with a full advanced safety suite.

The 2026 Suzuki Jimny has arrived in the Philippines, but this does not yet mark the mid-cycle facelift of the iconic compact off-roader. And yet the changes are noteworthy as they introduce a suite of new tech features to bring the Jimny into the modern era.

The main highlight for this update is the new Suzuki Safety Support, the brand’s suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). In Suzuki’s application, it uses both a radar mounted just below the grille, along with a camera on top of the windshield. These sensors allow the Jimny to feature adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with lane keeping assist, and automatic high beams. Additional safety features include front side airbags and full curtain airbags, along with front parking sensors.

All of these safety features are fitted to all 2026 Suzuki Jimny variants. Yes, even the base GL with a manual, which is interesting, since it is rare to see a manual-equipped vehicle with adaptive cruise control.

On top of the safety features, quality of life updates have also been added to the Jimny. GLX variants now feature a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment inherited from the Jimny 5-Door, and this comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also a new color multi-information display (MID) that replaces the previous red-orange dot-matrix display.

What hasn’t changed is its powertrain, wherein the 1.5-liter four-cylinder K15B engine continues to produce 102 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. This is mated to a five-speed manual for the GL and a four-speed automatic for the two GLX variants. Of course, the ALLGRIP PRO four-wheel drive (4WD) system remains standard equipment, and it features a default 2WD mode, a 4WD High for gravel and loose surfaces, and a 4WD Low mode for the highest torque possible in the steepest and muddiest terrain.

The 2026 Jimny 3-Door with the new Suzuki Safety Support suite is available in the following prices:

  • GL M/T: P1,293,000
  • GLX A/T: P1,355,000 (+P15,000- for two-tone paint)
