The 2026 Toyota RAV4 is about to be launched very soon. So soon, in fact, that specs of the new RAV4 have already been revealed ahead of its launch this month.

As mentioned, there will be two variants. The range-topping LTD has already been previewed at the 54th Golden Tee golf event, while the rugged ADV makes its public debut at the first leg of the 2026 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup at Riverpark, Cavite.

Beginning with what’s standard on both variants, these include C-shaped LED headlights, full LED taillights, and roof rails. Where the two variants set themselves apart is that the ADV is based on the Adventure design theme, and it features bridge-type roof rails and 18-inch wheels. Meanwhile, the LTD is based on the Core body style, and it features 20-inch wheels, a frameless mesh grille, and auto leveling for the LED headlights. Those who prefer a sleeker look will likely choose the LTD, while the ADV caters to those who prefer a rugged RAV4.

Inside, both variants are likewise fully loaded. A large 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.9-inch main infotainment screen are standard equipment, which is powered by Toyota’s new software-defined vehicle (SDV) operating system called Arene OS. Even the JBL sound system is standard equipment for both RAV4 versions.

Where the two models split is with their upholstery choices, wherein the ADV features synthetic leather upholstery in Mineral or Black (for indent order), while the LTD comes with genuine leather in Black or Beige (for indent order). The ADV also gets a power-adjustable driver’s seat with heating for the front occupants, along with a sunroof. The LTD, on the other hand, gets power adjustment for the two front seats that feature heating and cooling, a windshield-projected head-up display, heated rear seats, and a panoramic glass roof.

Powering the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is a new, fifth-generation 2.5-liter Toyota Hybrid System (THS V). The 2.5-liter Dynamic Force naturally-aspirated four-cylinder works in tandem with stronger electric motors, a smarter power control unit, and a more energy-dense lithium-ion battery. As a result, power increases from 219 to 236 horsepower, since electronic all-wheel drive (AWD) is fitted as standard.

Lastly, the full Toyota Safety Sense suite is fitted as standard on both RAV4 variants, and this includes Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Contrl (DRCC), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Automatic High Beam (AHB). A 360-degree camera is also fitted as standard.
