The Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2.2 4×2 AT and MT will now be available with side and curtain airbags, features that used to be exclusive to the top of the line Wildtrak 3.2 4×4 AT. Other safety features include three-point seatbelts on all seats, driver and passenger seatbelt warning, and ISOFIX child-seat anchor points.

Speaking of the 3.2 Wildtrak 4×4 AT, many customers begged for a manual transmission variant of the said model, and in response to that demand, Ford is finally offering a manual transmission model of the said variant. This variant has a rear-view camera, cooled center console bin, eight-way power adjustable seats, and a 12V socket on the bed.
