Ford Philippines today announced September retail sales improved from previous month to 1,725 vehicles.
The Ranger led the sales for the month with 875 vehicles, driving its year-to-date sales up 13 percent to 8,491 vehicles.
Ford launched the new Ranger lineup in September, which consists of 9 different variants in the Philippines, including the first-ever Ranger Raptor, Wildtrak, XLT, and XLS variants.
A choice of three diesel powertrains delivers greater versatility and match consumer demands for a wider variety of requirements, including the new generation 2.0L Turbo and 2.0L Bi-Turbo engines, and the Ranger’s proven Duratorq.
The Everest mid-size SUV contributed to the September total with 421 vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales to 4,400 vehicles.
The EcoSport mini-SUV recorded sales of 334 vehicles, driving its year-to-date sales to 4,323 vehicles.
The Mustang posted sales of 32 vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales up 17 percent to 346 vehicles.
“We remain optimistic for the remainder of the year with our refreshed vehicle line-up that is helping drive a lot of traffic to our Ford showrooms across the country,” said Bert Lessard, managing director, Ford Philippines.
