Ford Philippines Adds A More Affordable Titanium 1.5 Variant For The EcoSport

Same features as the EcoBoost model but at a more affordable price.

Ford Philippines is expanding its Ford EcoSport portfolio with the launch of the new 1.5L Titanium AT variant, which now uses the naturally aspirated 1.5-liter Ti-VCT inline-4 petrol engine from the Ambiente and Trend variants.

Priced at P1,098,000, it is certainly significantly more affordable than the Titanium 1.0 EcoBoost priced at P1,168,000 whilst still having the same features. This means that the HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, passive entry with push button start, sunroof, rear view camera, rear parking sensors, six airbags, electronic stability control, and SYNC3 with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 7 speakers all come as standard.

There are plenty of customers who are simply after the features of a top trim model without the need of the more powerful engine, and this more affordable Titanium 1.5 variant should further increase the EcoSport’s appeal to a wider range of customers.

Since the new EcoSport was launched last year, it has become a familiar sight on city streets across the country, having gained an even wider appeal for its unmistakable combination of agility, affordability, and fuel efficiency of a compact car with the ground clearance, flexibility, and spaciousness of an SUV.

“The Ford EcoSport remains one of the country’s favorite SUVs with its quality design, rugged capability, best-in-class features, superior fuel economy, and great value for money. With the introduction of this new variant, we are giving our customers another option to enjoy the mini-SUV and its street smart capabilities,” shares Ryan Lorenzo, AVP for Marketing, Ford Philippines. “The EcoSport 1.5L Titanium combines the performance of a new powertrain and the segment-leading features of the Titanium variant to provide a differentiated urban driving experience that only the EcoSport can offer.”

The EcoSport 1.5L Titanium is available at P1,098,000 and comes in Absolute Black, Ingot Silver, Ruby Red, Canyon Ridge, Crystal White, and Blue Lightning colors. The new variant boosts the line-up of EcoSport vehicles to 5 variants, which starts at P918,000. The other EcoSport variants are the 1.0L EcoBoost Titanium AT, 1.5L Trend AT, 1.5L Trend MT, and 1.5L Ambiente MT.
