More than a month into the enhanced community quarantine and everyone is probably reaching the peak of their boredom. As a result, various car manufacturers have been creative in keeping fans and customers entertained during the quarantine measures enforced in various countries around the world. MG Philippines is the latest car manufacturer to keep its customers and fans entertained by releasing a set of coloring templates.
Be creative and create your own special color or livery for the MG 5, MG ZS, MG 6, and MG RX5. MG Philippines has also thrown in the MG logo for you to get creative with. All of these coloring templates are in a high resolution of 3300 x 2550 pixels. Just click or tap on the photo to see the full-resolution version and then save it on your smartphone or desktop.
The MG 5 is the Sino-British automaker’s entry-level compact (C-segment) sedan priced among subcompact (B-segment) sedans. Measuring at 4,601 mm long, 1,818 mm wide, and 1,489 mm tall, the MG 5 is as big as a Honda Civic, Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla Altis, just to name a few. With a P658,888 starting price, the MG 5 aims squarely at the Toyota Vios, Honda City, Hyundai Accent, among other subcompact sedans. In terms of features, it is generously equipped with a 360-degree camera, LED headlights, 10-inch touch screen infotainment system on higher variants.
The MG ZS is MG Philippines’ most popular nameplate, accounting for more than half of the brand’s sales. The subcompact crossover SUV has become ubiquitous on Philippine roads. With prices kept under P1 million even for the top trim variant along with extremely generous features, it’s no surprise that the MG ZS is an extremely popular choice for SUV-loving Filipinos.
The MG 6 is the brand’s key rival to the Honda Civic, Kia Forte, Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla Altis, among other compact passenger cars. It has a sporty fastback design and a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-4 petrol engine that generates 164 hp and a punchy torque figure of 250 Nm. This is then mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Like the rest of the line-up, its relatively affordable pricing and generous features have made the MG 6 a popular option among C-segment passenger cars.
Lastly, the MG RX5 has proven to be a popular option among Filipinos due to its affordable pricing. The compact crossover SUV is also equipped with generous features and is powered by the same 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 petrol engine from the MG 6. It’s also mated to a 7-speed wet DCT.
