Just like all auto dealerships across the country, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is strictly implementing a host of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within its dealers’ premises. So, how exactly does the largest automaker in the Philippines implement strict health standards inside its dealers? Well, the Japanese automaker has sent us photos on how Toyota dealers in general community quarantine (GCQ) areas are implementing such measures.
From the dealer entrance, Toyota dealers are already implementing strict temperature checks to customers entering the building. Based on the guidelines that the company has released in early April, the Japanese automaker will not let customers with a temperature exceeding 37.3 degrees Celsius enter the dealership premises. Also, customers will be required to disinfect at the entrance before entering the dealership.
Of course, to comply with social distancing measures, Toyota dealers will only allow a limited number of customers to enter the dealer. To achieve this, only those with confirmed service appointments using the MyToyota PH website will be allowed to enter.
Strict health and sanitation measures are likewise enforced in the service bays. Technicians are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), while vehicles going in and out of the service area will be strictly sanitized.

Stay home, stay safe, and please observe precautionary measures if you need to go out. We are working hard to prepare our dealerships and ensuring that everyone will be safe upon their visit. We look forward to serving our valued customers again. See you in our dealerships!”
