Weeks ago, we talked about how online car shopping is starting to pick-up traction in overseas markets. Thankfully, this is also now the case here in the Philippines. A few days ago, Hyundai announced the launch of its H.O.M.E. online car shopping platform. The next automaker to implement this initiative is Japanese luxury automaker Lexus and its Lexus Remote online car shopping service.
In the premium automotive segment, the purchasing process of a brand-new luxury car is part of the experience. The level of intimacy and satisfaction of selecting the color, interior materials, and wheel choices is something that’s savored by customers. However, at times where the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing, the core experience of buying a luxury car needs to shift as well. This is why Lexus Philippines has recently launched Lexus Remote.
If you are interested in buying a Lexus, here is how Lexus Remote works.
- Leave your details on the form at the Lexus Remote website. You will then be contacted by your dedicated Sales Consultant, who will address your inquiries and prepare a quotation for you.
- If you’re ready to proceed with the purchase, send a copy of the necessary documents to your Sales Consultant. They will send back a copy of the Vehicle Sales Worksheet for your review, alongside detailed payment instructions.
- Once everything is approved, you will receive a confirmation email and a receipt for your deposit. Congratulations—you are now the owner of a new Lexus!
- Given the current situation, your new car will be delivered from May 19* onwards, after we have completed the necessary preparations of your new vehicle.
Lexus Philippines’ sole dealer in Bonifacio Global City has opened its doors since May 18, 2020. Customers who still wish to purchase a Lexus on-site will need to book an appointment before visiting the dealership. Of course, as with every automaker here in the Philippines, Lexus is implementing a host of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
