Toyota Motor Philippines confirms that the facelifted 2021 Toyota Vios will make its debut this Saturday, July 25, 2020. Toyota’s latest subcompact sedan will make its public launch at 6 pm via its Facebook page.
To those who are wondering, the 2021 Toyota Vios will only be a minor refresh. So far, this is going to be its second refresh since this generation of the Vios came out in 2013. From what we’re seeing, Toyota has given it a new face. The upper part of the grille has been retained while the front bumper has been redesigned. It now features a large black trim piece, in which there are vertical foglight housings at the sides.
Not much is know about the rest of the new Vios, including its interior. Because the refreshed Toyota Wigo got an upgraded infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it wouldn’t be surprising if this will also be implemented in the new Vios. What we’re definitely sure about are the powertrain choices. The 1.3-liter and 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engines will remain unchanged, along with the 5-speed manual and CVT transmission options.
Join us this Saturday at 6 pm as we witness the unveiling of the new Toyota Vios, which is the country’s best-selling vehicle and is also locally-assembled at Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
