A “bobber” is a stripped factory motorcycle stripped of all unnecessary parts. The Bobber 650 is a cruiser bike that features a retro classic look. This segment is most loved by people aiming to own a clean and minimalistic bike, and the 2021 Bristol Bobber 650 is definitely one of them. The motorbike comes as standard with a single seat set up, though buyers can opt for an optional pillion seat.
The Bobber 650 has a steel frame with a seat height of 740mm, weighing about 225kg. Tires are 120/80-16 in the front and 150/80-15 at the rear and are a tubeless spoke-type.
Powering the Bristol Bobber 650 is a 649 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 8-valve, DOHC Parallel twin capable of producing 69 hp at 8500 rpm and 62 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm, The Bobber 650 uses a 6-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive. Manufacturer-claimed top speed is at 165km/h and it comes with a Bosch EFI, responsible for its 16 km/l fuel consumption with a fuel capacity of 14.5 liters.
One of the highlights of the Bobber 650 is its front and rear disc brakes, which are an impressive 345 mm at the front and 280 mm at the rear. These are specs we normally only see in bigger and higher performing bikes. Both front and rear discs also feature ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), while the suspension is a KYB telescopic fork at the front and a dual shock absorber at the rear.
