Initial Batch Of Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Units Already Sold Out

The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro has been a sales hit for Chery Auto Philippines, as the first batch of units has already been sold out.

Demand for the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro has been so high that the first batch of the stylish crossover, launched only last January 27, was sold out within 30 days. And there is already a growing waiting list for the next shipment scheduled to arrive this March.

The Tiggo 7 Pro is Chery’s first all-new model since the brand made a grand entrance into the Philippine automotive market in November 2019 and rolled out four crossovers: the subcompact Tiggo 2 and Tiggo 5x, the compact Tiggo 7, and the midsize 7-seater Tiggo 8.

While still remaining focused on consumers looking for great value in their new cars, Chery Auto Philippines is also setting its sights on a new segment of buyers who still want value but desire more luxury and premium features.

“The warm market acceptance to the all-new Chery Tiggo 7 Pro is a strong indication that more and more Filipino buyers are no longer just settling for bargains or low-priced units, but are now looking for true great value, regardless of brand,” says Chery Auto Philippines President Rommel Sytin.

“Filipinos are now aware that they can get all the features—and even more—than what the established brands are giving, at a better price,” Sytin added.

But it’s not just pure price that are bringing buyers to Chery showrooms. “The Tiggo 7 Pro has the upmarket styling and features that can let it sit side by side with premium brands and still hold its own,” declared Sytin.

The new Tiggo 7 Pro’s European-inspired design was penned by a Briton who used to design BMWs and Mazdas, Chery’s Vice President and Global Chief of Car Design, Kevin Rice. Rice was instrumental in the design of Mazdas, including the MX-5, from 1999 to 2005 as Hiroshima’s European Design Director, and with BMW, for the exterior design of the previous 1, 3 and 4 Series.

The new Tiggo 7 Pro is an even more irresistible package with Chery’s standard 10-year/1 million-km engine warranty, a 5-year/150,000-km general vehicle warranty, FREE 3-year preventive maintenance service (PMS), and FREE 3-year roadside assistance.

As of this writing, the all-new Chery Tiggo 7 Pro has a retail price of still, P1,198,000 as the distributor announced its absorption of the safeguard tariff until March 31, 2021.
