Fox performance-ready suspension on the Ranger Raptor delivers up to 30 percent more wheel travel than regular shock absorbers. In simpler terms, wheel travel is a measurement of the maximum vertical movement that a vehicle’s wheel is capable of. The greater the wheel travel, the better the wheel can traverse terrain with varying undulations while maintaining contact with the surface. The Fox shock absorbers on Ranger Raptor and FX4 Max have been designed to deal with a combination of high- and slow-speed driving and load carrying.
