After the debut of the GN8 luxury MPV in 2018, GAC Motor Philippines is now releasing an even more luxurious and distinct version of its flagship MPV, the 2021 GAC GN8 Master’s Edition.
The 2021 GN8 Master’s Edition has a bolder exterior look, highlighted by its massive vertical grille design in silver finish. Along with the new grille, the front fascia is also accented with a new set of fog lights and a silver skid plate beneath. The side profile is embellished with a side skirt in black and silver finish, while the rear end gets a new bumper design with a new exhaust pipe finish, a pair of LED brake lights, and a silver skid plate.
Offering comfortable seating for seven passengers, the GN8 comes with a second-row heated and ventilated captain seats equipped with a back massager, ottoman, and aircraft headrests to provide first-class levels of luxury and comfort. The third-row seats also offer a large amount of legroom for optimum comfort on the road. Other interior features include a 32-color LED adjustable ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, premium upholstery, a new eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, tri-zone climate control, and a 10-inch TFT infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay.
As for the engine, the 2021 GN8 Master’s Edition is still powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 199 horsepower at 5,200 rpm, and 320 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm to 4,000 rpm. This drives the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
To ensure the safety of passengers, the GAC GN8 Master’s Edition boasts fully functional parking sensors, a 180-degree backup camera system, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), stability control system, three-point seat belts, seatbelt warning, anti-collision sensor, airbags, and child safety locks.
The 2021 GAC GN8 Master’s Edition is now available in the Philippines with a price tag of P2,958,000.
