The 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is now on sale in the Philippines, and this can be yours for a cool P3,890,000.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has officially been launched in the Philippines, and it brings the genes of the S-Class flagship sedan to the compact luxury sedan of the three-pointed star brand. Available solely as a C 180 Avantgarde, the C-Class blends luxury and tech whilst offering a more dynamic driving experience.

The shape of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class echoes that of the brand’s S-Class flagship. This is characterized by its wide grille, long hood, and short rear deck proportions. The luxury-oriented Avantgarde variant that was brought into the Philippines comes equipped with LED headlights as standard, along with 18-inch wheels and polished chrome window trims.

Moving inside the C-Class, you’ll appreciate the completely revolutionary interior design. The S-Class-inspired interior design features a significant step up in luxury and fit and finish. Also taking a page out of the S-Class are its digital screens. The all-new C-Class is the next Mercedes to feature the brand’s next-generation MBUX infotainment system, which ditches the touchpad for a pure touch screen experience. Unlike the S-Class, the C-Class’s 11.6-inch portrait screen is angled towards the driver by six degrees. Of course, this comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The sole C 180 Avantgarde variant that’s going to be sold here is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that is mated to a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, and it has a combined output of 170 hp and 250 Nm of torque. This is sent to the rear wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission and is good enough for a 0-100 kph time of 8.6 seconds.

As for safety, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes with automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, and a reverse camera, just to name a few. This comes on top of the usual suite of airbags, electronic stability control, and other fundamental electronic safety tech.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is now for sale across the brand’s dealers nationwide for P3,890,000.
