About a year after making its global debut, the facelifted 2023 BMW X3 compact luxury SUV has finally arrived in the Philippines. The facelifted X3 brings with its updated looks as well as new tech features, but for this launch, the highlight is this xDrive20d Business variant that’s priced at P3,790,000.
This makes the 2023 BMW X3 one of the most competitively-priced compact luxury SUVs out there, undercutting its rivals from Lexus, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz, just to name a few. For that price, what you get is an X3 that now comes with a more assertive front fascia with its revised LED headlights, an enlarged grille that’s surrounded by a single whole trim piece, and a redesigned front bumper. And then moving towards the rear end, you’ll see the X3’s redesigned rear bumper, as well as the new LED taillights with its “pincer claw contour” design.
The changes made to the interior of the new 2023 BMW X3 are much more modest. BMW’s iDrive 7 infotainment system with the BMW Intelligent Voice Control now comes as standard, and this is housed in a 10.25-inch screen in the case of this xDrive20d Business variant. The gauge cluster, on the other hand, are the Live Cockpit Plus partly digital gauges. In addition, the climate control layout is now similar to that of the 1 Series, 3 Series, and X5. Other interior amenities include power-adjustable front seats, three-zone climate control, and ambient LED lights.
Powering the X3 xDrive20d Business is a familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This is mated to an 8-speed automatic that drives all four wheels. With this powertrain, 0-100 kph happens in just 7.9 seconds while its top speed is 213 kph.
The new 2023 BMW X3 xDrive20d Business is now available across all of the brand’s dealers nationwide, and this comes with a 5-year comprehensive warranty as well.
