Mercedes-Benz PH Introduces Minor Updates To GLA, GLC, GLE

The Mercedes-Benz GLA is now available with a Progressive variant, while equipment updates were made to the GLC and GLE.

Auto Nation Group (ANG), the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Philippines, has introduced a number of updates for its three SUVs, the GLA, GLC, and GLE. This comes just a couple of weeks after announcing a new variant for the GLB.

Starting with the GLA, the main highlight of the brand’s smallest luxury SUV is the addition of a new GLA 200 Progressive variant. Compared to the sporty looks of the GLA 200 AMG Line, the GLA 200 Progressive dons a more luxurious look with its new 19-inch wheels on its exterior, along with satin silver faux skid plates. Inside, the MBUX infotainment system also sees an upgrade as it now comes with two 10.25-inch screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Up next is the GLC compact luxury SUV. It must be noted that this is still the current generation model and not the next-generation GLC that was unveiled earlier this year. The GLC 200 now gets new adaptive LED headlights, a larger 10.25-inch MBUX infotainment system, a 9-speaker sound system, and added storage sections in the cargo area.

Finally, the midsize GLE 300d 4Matic gets a few software upgrades with its MBUX infotainment system. Though just like before, it is still housed in two 12.3-inch screens and it comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Sounds are then played through a Burmester surround sound system.

The 2023 model year Mercedes-Benz GLA, GLC, and GLE are now available in dealers at the following prices:

  • GLA 200 Progressive: P3,650,000
  • GLC 200: P4,390,000
  • GLE 300d 4Matc: Price available upon request
