Following its preview at the recent 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is ready to launch the all-new 2023 BR-V in the country. With that, the first units of the Honda BR-V are now on Philippine shores, just in time for its debut this November 21, 2022.
Whereas the automotive industry as a whole has been experiencing a shortage of brand-new cars, that won’t be the case for the 2023 Honda BR-V–at least for when it is launched. The Japanese automaker also used this announcement as an opportunity to further confirm what other features the next-generation BR-V will get.
All variants of the BR-V will come with stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. The BR-V is also ever-so-slightly larger than the previous model, enabling the crossover SUV to offer more legroom and headroom for passengers in each row. Honda also confirmed that all variants come with one-touch folding second-row seats and a dive-down mechanism for the 3rd row.
Leather seats are fitted to the VX CVT and V CVT variants, while high-grade fabric is available for S CVT and S MT variants. A first for this model, the all-new BR-V now features a seat height adjuster and adjustable steering wheel across all variants. Yes, believe it or not, the outgoing BR-V did not come with these adjustments. The 2023 Honda BR-V also comes with various technology features such as a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on all variants, as well as a first-in-class remote engine start on CVT variants.
Lastly, HCPI is also proud to highlight that the all-new BR-V VX CVT variant is equipped with Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety technology. This includes the following features:
- Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS)
- Auto-High Beam (AHB)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
- Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)
- Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)
These features come on top of the following safety features on all variants, such as speed sensing door locks, dual SRS airbags, reverse camera, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, and emergency stop signal. Splurging for the VX CVT also gives you the benefit of Side curtain airbags, Honda’s LaneWatch Camera, and rear seat belt reminder, while Walk Away Auto Lock is available for both the VX CVT and V CVT variants.
“We are excited to share news of the arrival of our stocks of the all-new BR-V. We are ready for launch and looking forward to reaching out to more Filipino families and being part of their journeys. With its design and features, the all-new Honda BR-V will bring the SUV experience of customers to the next level” said Mr. Masahiko Nakamura, President of HCPI.
The all-new 2023 Honda BR-V is now available for pre-order and will be available in four variants with the following prices:
- VX CVT: P1,390,000
- V CVT: P1,300,000
- S CVT: P1,190,000
- S MT: P1,100,000
