Ford Just Unveiled An Everest Wildtrak And We Want It So Bad

The new Ford Everest Wildtrak has finally came true and we want it to be sold outside the New Zealand market.

The Wildtrak nameplate has always been limited to the Ranger, but now, Ford just unveiled an Everest Wildtrak for the New Zealand market. The 2023 Ford Everest Wildtrak basically carries over the look of its pickup sibling but in an SUV format.

Basically, the 2023 Ford Everest Wildtrak adopted the rugged front bumper of the Ranger Wildtrak, with its gray hue and silver trim. This is unsurprising since the Everest and Ranger share a lot of parts similarities. The Luxe Yellow paint of the Ranger Wildtrak has also been coated onto the exterior of the Everest Wildtrak. Black wheel arches and unique 20-inch wheels complete the transformation, while a Wildtrak script has been added to the hood of the vehicle.

If you’ve seen the interior of the Ranger Wildtrak, well that’s pretty much how the interior of this SUV also looks like. Everything from the yellow stitching to the embossed Wildtrak logo on the seats has been added to the Everest Wildtrak as well. As for features, the Everest Wildtrak comes with an 8-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12-inch SYNC4 infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are also power-adjustable front seats and a 10-speaker audio system.

As for engines, the 2023 Ford Everest Wildtrak comes with just one engine–a 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 that produces 246 hp and 600 Nm of torque, which is then mated to a 10-speed automatic that drives all four wheels.

The new Everest Wildtrak sits in between the top-of-the-range Premium variant in New Zealand. For now, this variant is limited to their market. Do you wish for Ford to expand this model to other markets, including the Philippines?
