Mazda PH Gives BT-50 4×2 The Black Edition Treatment For P1.430M

Priced similarly to the base 4x2 model, the 2023 Mazda BT-50 Black Edition adds value and style to the brand's popular pickup.

Mazda Philippines launches the new 2023 Mazda BT-50 Black Edition, a new, value-packed BT-50 variant that also gives the pickup added style and flair. Based and priced identically to the BT-50 4×2 AT variant at P1,430,000, it comes as a factory-installed, no-cost option for the first 50 customers.

The distinctive Mazda face, with its three-dimensional signature wing grille, is now showcased in a high-gloss black finish, complemented by new 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels wrapped in 255/65 R17 highway-terrain tires. There’s also a new tailgate assist that makes the loading and unloading of cargo easier than ever. Other features that Mazda BT-50 Black Editon gets include LED front lighting, power-folding side mirrors, side step boards, and a bedliner covering its generous cargo tub.

Inside, the 2023 BT-50 4×2 AT Black Edition is equipped with uniquely-trimmed black leather seats with gray accents and contrast stitching, and “Black Edition” logos debossed on the front headrests. There’s also a black leather steering and black leather center armrest. Other interior features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker system, and a remote engine start.

As for safety, it has dual SRS airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control with traction control, hill start assist, and hill descent control. For added confidence during parking, it comes equipped with a reverse parking camera with rear sensors.

Powering the BT-50 4×2 AT Black Edition is a 3.0-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder engine generating 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It is mated exclusively to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

As mentioned, the 2023 Mazda BT-50 Black Edition 4×2 for P1,430,000. Like every other brand-new Mazda, it offers a 5-year Free Service Plan which covers the expenses of periodic maintenance at either 6-month or 10,000-kilometer intervals, for up to 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. This is on top of a 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty.
