The 2025 Kia EV6 comes with improved looks inside and out, as well as better tech and a larger battery for better range.

The award-winning and highly acclaimed Kia EV6 has been with us for a couple of years now, and as time went by, Kia has given its popular compact electric crossover SUV a mid-cycle facelift. Along with the improved looks are better tech features and improved range when fully charged. The 2025 Kia EV6 aims to continue its award-winning streak as competition in the electric vehicle (EV) segment gets tougher than ever.

First, let’s start with the obvious change—its exterior. For the 2025 model year, the EV6 dons a revised front end. There’s a new front bumper and a new Starmap design for the LED daytime running lights. This brings the 2025 Kia EV6 more in line with the brand’s new and upcoming EV models like the EV9, the EV5, and the upcoming EV3. Moving towards the side, there’s a new set of alloy wheel choices that feature a geometric design, while the rest of the body panels remain nearly unchanged. Finally, the rear end comes with a set of new LED taillights as well as a redesigned rear bumper.

Changes to the interior of the 2025 Kia EV6 are more modest, but they are still welcome nonetheless. The dash design has been slightly redesigned, with the most obvious change being the new design for the two digital screens. The glass housing is new, and the operating system running the infotainment is the Hyundai Motor Group’s newest connected car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system that you now see in cars like the EV9 and Santa Fe. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are offered, along with the option for a Meridian sound system on higher variants.

As for the electric drivetrain, the 2025 Kia EV6 still comes in either single-motor or dual-motor options. The single-motor version produces 225 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor version produces 320 horsepower and 605 Nm of torque. Just like the facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 5, the facelifted EV6 also benefits from the larger 84 kWh battery that debuted in the Ioniq 5 N. As a result, the EV6 now has a claimed maximum range of 494 kilometers (up from 475 kilometers) in the South Korean market.

The 2025 Kia EV6 will first go on sale in South Korean in June, while a global release–including the Philippines, will follow in the coming months.
