New Ford Everest Tremor Is The Raptor-Lite Version Of This SUV

Things have been going really well for the Ford Everest. It is currently one of Ford’s best-selling models, as well as being the second best-selling midsize truck-base SUV in the Philippines. Globally, it’s pretty much the same case, too, and to increase this SUV’s appeal, there’s a new Ford Everest Tremor that adds Raptor-like capabilities to the highly popular SUV.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Tremor branding, Ford has used this name as an off-road-focused variant of its SUVs and pickups in the United States, such as in the Maverick and F-150. Setting the Ford Everest Tremor for the standard model is its mesh grille, a new matte black bumper and front fascia trims, a steel bash plate, as well as orange Tremor badges. There are also heavy-duty side steps, as well as 18-inch wheels wrapped in General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires. Finally, the Everest Tremor is exclusively sold with a Command Grey paint.

While Ford hasn’t revealed the Everest Tremor’s interior, the Blue Oval brand says that it comes with all-weather floor mats, Tremor-embossed leather seats, and ebony-colored trimmings. Suppose you want to add more features and personality to the Everest Tremor, you can opt for various options and packages, such as the Rough Terrain Pack with ARB off-road accessories, or the Touring Pack, Premium Seat Pack, and Towing Pack.

The brawny looks of the Ford Everest Tremor is matched with an equally brawny 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine that produces 247 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. This is sent through all four wheels via a ten-speed automatic. Ford also added Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers and new springs that lift its ground clearance to 26 mm. It’s also worth noting that it inherits the Ranger Raptor’s Rock Crawl mode.
