Kia Philippines continues its push toward offering a broad range of electric vehicles with the local release of the EV9. The 2025 Kia EV9 is now in the Philippines as the country’s first three-row purely electric SUV, and it can be yours for a cool P5,888,000.

But what exactly do you get with the most expensive Kia model in the Philippines to date? Well, flagship prices equate to bold and flagship looks. The model that was brought in is the range-topping GT Line with dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD), and thus, the EV9 GT Line gets a sporty exterior design, the signature Star Map LED headlights with accent lights surrounding its front fascia. Kia has also decided to ditch the traditional mirrors in favor of these camera-based units. Finally, there are 21-inch geometric wheels and a powered tailgate to complete the package.

Inside, the 2025 Kia EV9 GT Line has a lounge-like interior, which is highlighted by twin 12.3-inch screens that run Hyundai Motor Group’s latest award-winning connected car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system. There’s wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium Meridian surround sound system, and even heated and cooled front and second-row seats.
The EV9 GT Line also has two individual power-adjustable captain’s chairs, while two individual sunroofs are also located at the first and second rows. Finally, those in the third row are treated to their own charge ports along with plenty of space that’s enabled by the EV9’s E-GMP dedicated EV architecture.

Because this is the GT Line with the dual-motor AWD, this gets a system output of 378 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, enabling it to have a 0-100 kph time of just 5.3 seconds. With its 99.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, it has a WLTP-rated range of 505 kilometers, and with the E-GMP platform’s 800-volt architecture, the EV9 GT Line can accept up to 350 kW of DC fast charging for a 10-80 percent charge in just 24 minutes.
Finally, the EV9 GT Line also comes with the full suite of Kia DriveWise advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which includes Smart Cruise Control, Lane Following Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, among other features. This comes on top of a 360-degree camera system and all-around parking sensors.
The 2025 Kia EV9 GT Line AWD is now on sale in the Philippines, priced at P5,888,000.
