I don’t venture south of the Metro often, but it was my first time cruising the Star Tollway. And man, was I in for a surprise. Along with a quick detour for that sought-after authentic Batangas Lomi and cruising highways it reminds us that driving in the Philippines isn’t all that bad. Spending time inside the BMW X3 xDrive20d Business is also pleasant, as you’re drenched in premium materials and an impeccably built interior. There are two digital screens, both of which are running the iDrive 7 operating system. Despite the screens, there is still an array of physical controls that make it a very user-friendly interior. The sound system is even nice, and the ambient LED lighting is very immersive.
