The enhanced 2025 Porsche Taycan has finally arrived in the Philippines. The electric sports sedan done the Porsche way has been improved in every way, from enhanced looks to improved performance and range.
Improved Looks And Tech

The 2025 Porsche Taycan variant we see here is the standard model, in which all variants get a revised and sportier front fascia that’s achieved through the new vertical air intakes below the LED headlights, the redesigned front bumper, and the new adaptive matrix LED headlights. The side profile remains unchanged except for a new set of alloy wheel designs. Finally, at the rear, the new Taycan gets a revised full-width LED taillight, wherein the Porsche lettering now illuminates whenever you step on the brakes.

Moving inside the 2025 Porsche Taycan, the interior design remains largely unchanged, but you do get an updated Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system. The operating system is new, and it’s what you’ll also see in the newly updated Cayenne. As standard, it now comes with a front passenger display that now allows video streaming, bringing the total screen count to four. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, with the former now having better and deeper integration into PCM’s software.
Upholstery choices are new for 2025, with the base Taycan featuring the most interesting pattern of them all. The animal-free interior option in this variant gives you Race-Tex upholstery that’s complemented by wool-infused textile inserts with Pepita (houndstooth) pattern, which gives off a retro sporty vibe reminiscent of past Porsche 911s. The base Taycan also gets a Bose surround sound system, power-adjustable front seats,
More Range And Performance

The 2025 Porsche Taycan also comes with improved performance and range, thanks to the now-standard Performance Battery Plus package fitted to the Philippine-spec models. With a 105 kWh battery, the base Taycan can now travel up to 678 kilometers on a full charge, but more impressive is its faster charging speeds. While its 800-volt architecture is already one of the most powerful in any EV, the new Taycan now supports up to 350 kW of DC fast charging. Furthermore, the Taycan can hold that 350 kW rate for a longer duration, which means that the new Taycan now charges from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
Not only is it able to charge faster, but it’s also now a faster car, period. The base Taycan with a single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) layout produces 429 horsepower (+20 horsepower) and 420 Nm (+75 Nm) of torque, which is good for a 0-100 kph time of just 4.8 seconds. This is also the most efficient version of the Taycan, and if range is your biggest priority, the base Taycan has a WLTP-rated range of 678 kilometers–already higher than a lot of internal combustion engine (ICE) cars.
But Wait, There’s Still The Turbo S

Everything you’ve read so far is just for the base Taycan, but as you know, with a brand like Porsche, the pinnacle of the range always gets the “Turbo” designation. Of course, the 2025 Porsche Taycan also comes with such a variant, and to set itself apart, the Taycan Turbo S comes with a sportier front fascia, larger 21-inch wheels, carbon ceramic brakes with 10-piston brake calipers at the front, and an interior that’s focused on both performance and comfort. Also separating the Turbo S from the other variants are its Turbonite accents, which is what you’ll see in the Porsche crest logo, as well as the window trims.
The heart of the Taycan Turbo S is its dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, which produces a whopping 952 horsepower in Boost mode or 939 horsepower for most of the time. Torque stands at an Earth-shateering figure of 1,340 Nm, and that is good for a 0-100 kph time of just 2.4 seconds–making this one of the quickest-accelerating Porsches of all time. Of course, in typical Porsche fashion, handling plays a major role in the Taycan’s driving experience, and whichever variant you choose, adaptive air suspension comes as standard.
