Volvo Cars Philippines, through HARIPhil Asia Resources, Inc., has brought in the heavily facelifted versions of the XC60 and XC90. Available at the moment solely as plug-in hybrids, the XC60 and XC90 also mark the return of the brand’s powerful plug-in hybrid models after a long absence.

Both the 2026 Volvo XC60 and XC90 represent their second major facelifts for the brand’s popular luxury SUVs. Coming fresh from the brand celebrating the XC60 now being its all-time historical bestseller, the new XC60 receives an updated front end, featuring a sportier front bumper, along with a distinct asymmetrical grille pattern. The side profile remains largely unchanged, save for new alloy wheels, while the rear end features a new rear bumper and darkened LED taillights.

Meanwhile, the XC90 also features a similar asymmetrical grille, along with new LED headlights that seem to be inspired by those from the EX90 pure electric SUV. Likewise, the side profile remains unchanged, except for a new set of alloy wheels, while the rear end features subtly updated rear bumpers and LED taillights.
As for the interior, the main highlight for both models is a new range of material choices, along with a new, larger 11.2-inch Android Automotive-based infotainment system, which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Amenities for both models include a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, generous servings of wood and metal trimmings, along with standard Nappa Leather upholstery.
Branded as T8, the plug-in hybrid drivetrain is shared across the two models. They both utilize the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and electric motor combination, though the two models have different states of tuning. The smaller XC60 has a system output of 455 horsepower, while the three-row XC90’s system output is 462 horsepower.
Both models have the same 709 Nm of torque, along with an eight-speed automatic. They’re battery capacities are also the same at 18.8 kWh, which enables a 70-kilometer pure electric range for the XC90 and 80 kilometers for the lighter XC60.
For their second facelifts, both models didn’t just receive new tech features and improved looks. Volvo also spent a great deal improving the ride and handling of both models, along with a few chassis tweaks to improve refinement as well. Finally, both models come with adaptive air suspension as standard.
Lastly, in typical Volvo fashion, the XC60 and XC90 come with a generous suite of advanced driver-assistance systems. This includes the Pilot Assist adaptive cruise control and lane centering feature, along with a 360-degree camera system, among other safety features.
The 2026 Volvo XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrids are now on sale in the Philippines at the following prices:
- XC60 T8 PHEV: P4,540,000
- XC90 T8 PHEV: P5,450,000
