Chevrolet Philippines, which is now under Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc., has recently launched the new 2026 Chevrolet Groove. It is a small crossover SUV whose 4.3-meter length puts it alongside vehicles like the Toyota Yaris Cross, Mitsubishi Xforce, and Hyundai Creta, just to name a few.

But what do you get in the Groove that makes it stand out? Well, it does come with a modern design that features full LED headlights flanking a wide grille, while its front bumper has triangular foglight housings. It also gets a black contrasting oof, dual rear exhausts, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Now, if you’re thinking that the Groove will replace the Tracker, well, that is still an unanswered question at this point. However, design-wise, if the Groove looks a bit different from your usual Chevy, that’s because the Groove is actually a rebadged Wuling Xingchi. Wuling has a joint venture with SAIC GM in China, and the Groove is one of the vehicles that was born out of this three-way partnership.

As for the interior, the horizontal dash design emphasizes the interior’s width, and it comes with two screens as well. One of these is a large 10.25-inch main infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the driver gets a 7-inch digital gauge cluster.

The dash also has a leather-like material for an added premium feel, while the seats are also upholstered in leather with red accents. Finally, the driver gets power adjustment, while a panoramic sunroof should please both the driver and the passengers.
Powering the 2026 Chevrolet Groove is a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder that produces 150 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. This is sent to the front wheels via a CVT.
The new Chevrolet Groove is now on sale across all of the brand’s dealers with a price tag of P1,156,000. It comes with three colors: White, Star Twinkle Black, and Tungsten Gray.
