2026 Mitsubishi Xpander Lineup Now In PH, Priced From P1.099M

The 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander has arrived in the Philippines, coming in with new looks, upgraded features, but the same powertrain.

The 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander has officially arrived in the Philippines, marking the second facelift of the country’s most popular MPV. As it receives yet another minor design tweak, here’s all that you need to know about what’s new here in the Xpander.

Mechanically, don’t expect any changes here. Its 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine still produces 105 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque, being sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual. Yes, even the CVT from overseas markets didn’t make it here. To be fair, though it’s not the best transmission for an MPV in 2025, it still does the job.

Safety also gets a major update with the addition of a 360-degree camera system. However, as you would expect, this is reserved for the range-topping GLS and Xpander Cross. The airbag count remains the same as before, though new for the Xpander GLS is Active Yaw Control (AYC)–a feature formerly exclusive to the Xpander Cross. Though its roots trace back to Mitsubishi’s rallying days, AYC these days is mostly torque vectoring by braking as well as the traction control helping you corner better.

Design-wise, minor tweaks have been made, and they do improve its looks when taking everything into account. Go for the 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander if you’re preference is sportiness. A new “Aero Blade” design motif has been added to its front and rear fascia, giving the Xpander a sportier stance. This is complemented by new 17-inch wheels, reshaped LED daytime running lights, and a new grille with vertical lines. As for the Xpander Cross, Mitsubishi is building upon its rugged image by giving it a reshaped mesh grille, chunkier front and rear bumper, as well as new alloy wheels.

Like the exterior, the interior tweaks are likewise minor but noticeable. The 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross benefit from a new 8-inch digital gauge cluster, which has been inherited from the Xforce. Also inherited from the Xforce is its steering wheel, as well as the Xpander Cross’s synthetic leather upholstery with Heat Guard coating.

Also new this time around is a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, though, together with the 8-inch gauges, these are exclusive to the Xpander GLS and Xpander Cross. What’s standard on all variants is the addition of a headrest for the middle rear seat passenger.

These are pretty much the updates made to the 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross, and so if you’re interested in seeing these vehicles in the flesh, you can check these two vehicles at SM Mall of Asia’s Entertainment Hall from today until August 31. Here are also the prices of the new Xpander and Xpander Cross:

  • Xpander GLX MT – P1,099,000
  • Xpander GLX AT – P1,159,000
  • Xpander GLS AT – P1,259,000
  • Xpander Cross AT – P1,378,000
