Just as Suzuki Philippines has previewed the Fronx last June, they have now begun reaching dealers as we speak. With three variants to choose from, here’s what you need to know about the 2026 Suzuki Fronx.

Measuring at just under 4 meters long (3,995 mm to be precise), the Fronx sits right at the heart of the small crossover SUV segment. Pricing or even its launch date remain under wraps, but the new Suzuki Fronx makes a solid first impression. Upfront, it’s got a sporty and aggressive front end, thanks to a mesh grille that’s flanked by slim LED daytime running lights. The main LED headlights are in a separate housing, giving the Fronx a distinct front end.
Likewise, the side profile is sculpted and filled with curves to match the rest of the car’s sleek bodywork. Shown here is potentially the range-topping model, as it features a black contrasting roof and black 16-inch alloy wheels. Finally, as for the rear end, the 2026 Suzuki Fronx gets a full-width LED taillight design, because why not? These are in vogue these days, right? There’s also a sloping roofline to match, along with a bold rear bumper featuring a large faux silver skid plate-like trim piece.

Moving inside the Suzuki Fronx, the overall material feel is more on the utilitarian side, though there’s a reasonable amount of plush, thanks to the dark brown interior color scheme. There are also two analog gauges with a color multi-information display (MID), along with a 7-inch or a 9-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with the former being standard in the base GL. The range-topping SGX variant comes with leather upholstery and steering, and a head-up display
What is confirmed is its 1.5-liter mild-hybrid drivetrain. Fitted with a 12-volt integrated starter generator (ISG) and a lithium-ion battery, its total output is 99 hp and 135 Nm of torque. This is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic. The non-hybrid version gets a 1.5-liter non-electrified version of the hybrid model’s engine, though interestingly, it produces slightly more power at 104 hp, and slightly more torque at 138 Nm. This, however, gets a four-speed automatic.
Lastly, the 2026 Suzuki Fronx is the first model in the brand’s lineup to come with a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems. Branded as Suzuki Safety Support, it is exclusive in the SGX variant, and it comes with the usual automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane centering, blind spot warning, and rear cross traffic alert, just to name a few.
Here are the prices of the new Suzuki Fronx:
- Fronx GL – P1,059,000
- Fronx GLX Hybrid – P1,219,000
- Fronx GLX Hybrid two-tone – P1,229,000
- Fronx SGX Hybrid two-tone – P1,299,000
