Mitsubishi’s display is at full swing as it shows off its models at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, and in its display is the Outlander PHEV, one of the brand’s promised contenders to the current rapidly electrifying automotive offering landscape.
On display is the AWD Outlander PHEV in its “GT” variant, which shows an updated design with key elements such as the reworked front end, which houses the Dynamic Shield grille, as well as large and stylized 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped around chunky 255 series tires, helping give the Outlander a more up-market flair.
Behind the revised front end sits a 2.4-liter Dual-Cam 4-cylinder MIVEC engine that puts out 133 horsepower and 195 Nm of torque. This is coupled by dual electric motors that put power down in the front and rear, making 116 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque on the front end, and 136 horsepower and 195 Nm of torque at the rear end, all of which, of course, is backed up by a 22.7 kWh battery.
The inside of the Outlander PHEV sports full leather upholstery as well as space for 5 people, electronically adjustable front seats, and a multi-zone climate control system. Complimenting the tall dash is a 12.3-inch infotainment system, which is paired to a premium-grade 8-way Yamaha Dynamic Sound speaker system. The driver also gets an ADAS suite for additional driving safety, a 360-degree camera, and an auto-dimming smart rear-view mirror to boot. Take note that these are not yet the full specs, as these are features that the model gets in various global markets.
For now, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is only being previewed at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show, which you can visit from today, June 4, until June 7. The Outlander PHEV is set to make its official debut this August.
