Inchcape Philippines, through one of its retail arms, ICATS Asian Motors Inc., and Mazda Philippines (Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc.), today announced that ICATS Asian Motors Inc. has entered into an agreement to sell its Mazda Pasig C5 retail operations to Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc., effective 1 August 2026.
Throughout the transition period, ICATS Asian Motors and Bermaz Auto Philippines will work closely together to support continuity for customers, partners, and employees and to ensure a seamless transition of the Mazda Pasig C5 retail operations in Metro Manila.
For Inchcape Philippines, the move to sell the retail business is part of its disciplined and strategic approach to active portfolio management, ensuring the business remains focused on the brands, capabilities, and market opportunities best aligned with its long-term strategic priorities in the Philippines.
For Bermaz Auto Philippines, the transition reflects its commitment to the Mazda brand, the dealership network, and most importantly, the Mazda customers and its intention to support the brand’s next chapter in the Philippine market.
