Last October, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös, visited the Philippines in order to witness the inauguration of its first dealer in the Philippines. Though it is a temporary facility, it is still a full-service dealer. The permanent dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila is expected to be operational by 2014.
Rolls-Royce identified the Philippines as the latest emerging market in the Asia Pacific region, which is proven by the Philippines’ robust economic growth, outpacing many of its ASEAN neighbors. This is the reason why such an ulta-luxury brand has decided to enter the Philippine market. According to an interview conducted by ABS-CBN to the CEO, Müller-Ötvös has said that “We are basically sold out until May next year. What is more pleasing is that we have seen lots of customers coming to us who never owned a Rolls-Royce before.”
Each Rolls-Royce is custom built to the desired preferences and features of the customer. It is very rare for a Rolls-Royce to roll-out of the factory bare, and without any sort of customization. Being a bespoke luxury brand, Rolls-Royce not only follows whatever features are offered on the brochure or on the website, it also fulfils whatever optional equipment and feature the customer desires. “No request is considered too extravagant or unreasonable.” As written in the brochure. Müller-Ötvös has even said that “On one occasion, we even furnished an interior with veneer from a tree felled on the customer’s estate.”
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila was launched in the Philippines last June 2013. Comedian and TV host Willie Revillame was at the event, and with a legitimate reason to be there. He was Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila’s first customer, and the Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase displayed at the event was actually his own Rolls-Royce, wherein the keys are handed over to him at the launch event.
Visit the Rolls-Royce dealer today, and witness up close and personal the ultimate in luxury mobility, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II Extended Wheelbase. Do note that the Phantom on display at their facility located in 5th Avenue corner 26th Street in Bonifacio Global City, is reportedly worth PHP 51,000,000. I think I’ll buy two.
