Chevrolet Introduces The Trailblazer LTX Variant

The Chevrolet Trailblazer has been a huge success for Chevrolet in the Philippines. Its huge increase monthly sales are mainly attributed to the Trailblazer and the Colorado pick-up, and to further make a dent on the market dominated by the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Montero Sport, The Covenant Car Company Inc., Chevrolet’s distributor in the Philippines, is launching a new LTX variant.

The LTX will fill the gap between the base LT and top-spec LTZ. The LTX variant is priced at P1,588,888, and this should give Trailblazer buyers one more option as to what variant perfectly suits them best.

The LTX variant comes with new design 18-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out B-pillar, leather seats, and an electrochromic rear view mirror, which also houses a 4.3-inch LCD screen that displays whatever the standard rear-view camera sees.

The LTX is still powered by the same 2.8 Duramax CRDI VGT diesel engine, which produces a still class leading 200 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Power is distributed by a 6-speed automatic transmission. With the addition of this new variant, the Chevrolet Trailblazer should further strengthen its position in a very highly competitive segment.
