The Generation Y, or people who are born from the ’80s to the 2000s, are what many people consider as the hip and trendy. Always updated with the latest trends, which is further enforced by the fact that it’s mostly the Gen. Y that are truly connected and always online with their smartphones and tablets. Always updated with what is the coolest. Not that the Isuzu D-Max isn’t a hip and cool pick-up, but what better way is there to strengthen the D-Max’s appeal to the hip and cool, but to launch the new Isuzu D-Max X-Series.
The Isuzu D-Max X-Series is essentially the LS variant with a bit more sex appeal. Upgrades include an aero kit, racing stripes, cargo spoiler, side steps, cargo bedliner, 17-inch gunmetal alloy wheels and grille, and a red Isuzu badge. Inside, there are black fabric seats with a few red bits, and a steering wheel with a red Isuzu logo.
The Isuzu D-Max X-Series is powered by the same 4JJ1-TC 3.0 liter CRDI turbocharged diesel engine that produces 144 hp and 294 Nm of torque.
The Isuzu D-Max X-Series is available in two colors. Venetian Red Mica and Silky White Pearl, the latter being a P10,000 option. The pricing for this hip and cool pick-up truck is P1,234,000 for the manual and P1,286,000 for the automatic.
