2019 Ford Ranger Raptor Will Debut At Bangkok In February, Philippine Launch Late 2018/Early 2019 (With Video)

Reported to launch in February 2018 in Thailand, Late 2018/Early 2019 in the Philippines.

The highly anticipated Ford Ranger Raptor will reportedly launch on February 7, 2018, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Over the years, pick-up trucks have become more than vehicles used for business and utilitarian purposes, and have now been developed to suit more posh, eccentric lifestyles. Pick-up trucks such as the Ford Ranger Wildtrak is solid proof of that. Well, the Ranger’s appeal will further be boosted with the arrival of the Ranger Raptor, which will be powered by Ford’s new EcoBlue 2.0 liter twin turbo diesel engine, reported to produce more than 200 hp and more than 500 Nm of torque.

The Ford F-150 full-size truck has been discontinued in the Philippines for a long time now, and therefore, we haven’t received the popular F-150 Raptor truck that the USA enjoys. Nevertheless, the Ranger Raptor will surely provide the same level of thrills and off-road enjoyment that the F-150 Raptor is already known for.

The Ford Ranger Raptor has been a well-kept secret from Ford, and while it is still under heavy camouflage during its R&D, we’re sure that it’ll receive the same fascia as the F-150 Raptor, with large FORD lettering at the grille.

The Ford Ranger Raptor has been confirmed by managing director Bertrand Lessard to arrive in the Philippines in late 2018 or early 2019.

Now that the TRAIN and its vehicle excise tax is in full force in 2018, and having mentioned that pick-up trucks are tax exempted, will you be buying a Ford Range Raptor yourself?
