2019 Honda HR-V Order Books Now Open

The facelifted HR-V will soon arrive in the Philippines.

The Honda HR-V will soon be released here in the Philippines, and Honda Cars Philippines Inc. has opened the order books for the refreshed HR-V which will soon arrive in the Philippines.

Since its release three years ago, 5,000 units of the Honda HR-V have been sold, gaining a solid reputation among Filipino buyers looking for a practical, stylish, and fuel efficient small crossover.

The refreshed Honda HR-V features a revised front fascia that bears the brand’s new Solid Wing Grille corporate face inspired from the 10th generation Honda Civic. This grille is then flanked by LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, and for the RS variant, the grille is then blacked out for a more aggressive look. At the back, the LED tail light graphics have been slightly revised for a more aggressive look.

Inside, not much has changed in the HR-V’s dashboard, though there is a slight increase in use of piano black trims throughout the interior. It still continues to retain the highly flexible and high quality interior that we’ve come to know and love from the subcompact crossover SUV.

Powering the HR-V is the same 1.8-liter inline-4 i-VTEC petrol engine from its predecessor. It produces 141 hp and 172 Nm of torque, with power sent through the front wheels via an Earth Dreams CVT.

In terms of safety, at least for the Thai market where its ASEAN debut was held, Honda’s LaneWatch blind spot camera makes an appearance for the first time in the small SUV. Also, Emergency Stop Signal, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, and a plethora of airbags keep the occupants inside protected in the event of an accident.

Interested customers may already inquire and reserve at any of the 38 Honda dealerships nationwide starting today. Pricing for the Honda HR-V are as follows.

1.8 E CVT: P1,300,000

1.8 RS Navi CVT: P1,500,000
