The Honda HR-V looks sharper and is fully loaded with features regardless of variant.

Honda Cars Philippines Inc., has launched the mid-cycle refresh of the Honda HR-V, bringing with it a refreshed face and refined driving dynamics.

The refreshed Honda HR-V is available in two flavors, both fully loaded with features with only a few separating the two variants. Both feature their own distinct look, but the common ground between them include a revised front fascia that bears the brand’s new Solid Wing Grille corporate face inspired from the 10th generation Honda Civic. This grille is then flanked by LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, and for the RS variant, the grille is then blacked out for a more aggressive look. Inside, not much has changed in the HR-V’s dashboard, though there is a slight increase in use of piano black trims throughout the interior. It still continues to retain the highly flexible and high quality interior that we’ve come to know and love from the subcompact crossover SUV.

Replacing the Honda Display Audio infotainment system is a new Kenwood infotainment system that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the RS variant, the infotainment system features Garmin navigation capability.

Powering the HR-V is the same 1.8-liter inline-4 i-VTEC petrol engine from its predecessor. It produces 141 hp and 172 Nm of torque, with power sent through the front wheels via an Earth Dreams CVT.

n terms of safety, the HR-V is equipped with Emergency Stop Signal, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, and a plethora of airbags keep the occupants inside protected in the event of an accident.

Here are the prices for the refreshed Honda HR-V.
