The Nissan Terra Is Now On Philippine Shores

The long wait is finally over!

As promised, these new batch of Nissan Terras have now reached the Philippine shores last August 20, 2018. Nissan’s first foray into the midsize SUV segment has proved to be well received by the public due to the car’s high interest after so many teasers and its official launch last May. As a matter of fact, upon releasing all our content about the Nissan Terra, it became one of our most viewed articles and videos on our website and social media accounts.

With a streamlined look provided by the “boomerang” LED headlamps, it accentuates the Terra’s commanding presence on the road. The sleek roofline flows from the front fender all the way to the rear, while the tail lights further boost the Terra’s dynamic look. Completing the look is the Terra’s available 18-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish designed to create an exciting driving experience both on and off the road.

Inside, the Nissan Terra provides roomy accomodation for seven people. Entering the third row is made convenient thanks to its first-in-class second row one-touch remote fold and tumble seats. The vehicle offers one of the highest loading capacities and more rear space. Available premium leather seats, advanced climate control system, ambient lights, and overhead entertainment system, the Nissan Terra allows passengers to relax with ease and style.

Powering the Nissan Terra is a 2.5-liter YD25 diesel engine making 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque, mated through a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic. With the 4WD-DIFF lock system, coupled with Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist, drivers have more confidence tackling off-road situations. Along with the Terra’s reinforced chassis, five-link coil spring rear suspension, and rigid rear-wheel axle, these features work together to ensure durability, comfort, capability, and convenience for passengers and owners.

The highlight of the Nissan Terra is the Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies designed to bring safety and convenience to both driver and passengers. The technologies include Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. The vehicle also debuts the Smart Rear View Mirror, which allows drivers to see images through the rear view mirror without any obstruction. The video feed is provided by a camera mounted at the back.
