You pretty much know every detail about the Mazda 3, like how it is now a more premium vehicle than it replaces, as well as being the first of the second evolution of the Mazda line-up. Well, we’re not gonna let you hang any longer as here are the prices of the all-new, highly anticipated Mazda 3.
There are five variants in total. The range begins with the two 1.5-liter Elite in hatch (or Sportback as Mazda would like to call it) and sedan body styles. From this variant, features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic LED headlights with halogen daytime running lights, LED taillights, full LED exterior turn signals, cruise control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 8.8-inch Mazda Connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8-speaker sound system, passive entry with push-button start, 7 airbags, traction control, reverse camera with sensors, automatic climate control with rear AC vents are all standard.
Separating the Elite sedan and hatch are its interior materials. The sedan gets fabric seats while the hatch has a leatherette interior.
Under the hood is the carryover 1.5-liter Skyactiv-G petrol engine, which produces 111 hp and 146 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed automatic driving the front wheels.
As we move to the 2.0-liter Premium hatch and sedan, all the aforementioned features are carried over, with the addition of 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, full leather interior, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, 12-speaker Bose sound system, 360-degree around view camera, as well as the local debut of Mazda’s full suite of i-ACTIVSENSE advanced driver-assist features.
i-ACTIVSENSE includes full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning with rear cross traffic alert, as well as front and rear automatic emergency braking. Exclusive to the 2.0-liter Premium Sedan is front cross traffic alert, which is very useful in blind intersections. Additionally, the Mazda 3 2.0-liter Premium variants have Driver Attention Monitor.
Lastly, the range-topping Mazda 3 Speed, which is only as a hatch, is mainly focused on aesthetic upgrades. It comes with a subtle bodykit as well as 18-inch black alloy wheels and an exclusive red leather interior.
Powering the 2.0-liter Premium and Speed variants are likewise the carryover 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G petrol engine, which produces 155 hp and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic driving the front wheels.
Perhaps what you’re most excited about are its prices. Across the board, the new Mazda 3 has a price increase, yet this is at the expense of each variant being fully loaded. On top of these prices are of course Mazda’s YOJIN3, which is its free maintenance, warranty, and roadside assistance for up to three years.
