Cars aren’t exactly cheap. Chances are, a car will probably your second most expensive purchase during your lifetime. This is why most Filipino buyers opt for financing whenever they purchase their dream ride. Unfortunately, the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic means it will be difficult for customers to settle their payments on time.

It isn’t all bad news though, at least if you are a Toyota owner who opted for financing. Amid the threat of COVID-19, Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation is implementing a 30-day grace period to eligible accounts amid the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine. Toyota will send a text to eligible customers in the coming days.

With Toyota dealers across Luzon closed during these times, a lot of customers won’t be able to settle their payments on time. However, should you choose to settle your monthly amortizations on your original due dates, Toyota is also letting you do so.

With the threat of COVID-19 still ever-present, automakers such as Toyota are following suit to provide assistance to its customers during these difficult times.
