Motor Image Pilipinas, the official distributor of Subaru in the Philippines joins a list of growing automakers implementing measures to help its customers during the enhanced community quarantine.
If your Subaru is already due for its maintenance during the enhanced community quarantine period, there will be a 30-day grace period from your original preventive maintenance date. As for warranty claims, if your vehicle’s warranty will also end at any point within the enhanced community quarantine period, a 30-day grace period from the end date will also be implemented.
Since July 2019, Motor Image Pilipinas began offering longer warranties for its vehicles. The five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty is applicable to all Subaru models distributed by Motor Image Pilipinas and its authorized dealers. Meanwhile, the WRX STI will also come with a longer 3-year/60,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty, whichever comes first. This differs from the previous industry standard 3-year/100,000-kilometer warranty, while the WRX STI originally had a 1-year/20,000-kilometer warranty.
Motor Image Pilipinas, along with other automakers, are implementing measures during these times to give its customers peace of mind during the quarantine period. Expect more automakers to follow suit in the coming days or weeks.
