Isuzu PH Reiterates Commitment To PH Market Amid Dealer Closure

Isuzu Philippines Corporation remains committed to the Philippine market despite the closure of Isuzu Greenhills, which is part of the Yuchengco Group.

The automotive industry was shocked by the closure of five dealers–four of which are from Honda and one from Isuzu. All of these dealers are part of the Yuchengco Group of Companies’ House of Investments (HI). Despite the dealer closure, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) reiterates that it remains strong and committed to the Philippine market.

The Isuzu dealer in question is located in Greenhills. Do note that the dealer closure does not mean that the Japanese automaker is in trouble in our market. As a matter of fact, Isuzu just broke ground for the construction of its La Union dealer in December 2019. This is on top of the 45 dealers that Isuzu already has nationwide.

With the closure of Isuzu Greenhills, the House of Investments will implement a redundancy program to affected employees.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation has released the following statement:

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) announces that its dealership, Isuzu Greenhills in San Juan City already ceased operations beginning June 2, 2020, sighting various reasons.

IPC for its part, expresses utmost appreciation to the dealership for being part of its dealer network since 2009, more importantly for providing excellent sales and after-sales service to its clients.

Customers of Isuzu Greenhills who wish to have their vehicles serviced may proceed to the nearest Isuzu dealership, should they have any other inquiries, customer may send an email to customer-relations@isuzuphil.com. For off-site servicing, IPC also offers Mobile Medic services available nationwide.

IPC reassures its customers that this closure will not affect its nationwide network of 44 dealers. In fact, the company is set to open more dealerships in other strategic locations and vows to continue to be “Your Responsible Partner” specially in this very challenging time.
