The new Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is now on sale in the Philippines. Available only as a Cooper S variant, the Sidewalk Edition adds a dose of character to the only convertible model in the premium small car segment.

The Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is primarily available in a unique shade of Deep Laguna blue, though Midnight Black metallic, White Silver metallic, Enigmatic Black metallic, Moonwalk Grey metallic and Thunder Grey metallic are also available upon request. Other key highlights of this limited-edition model include its soft top, which is made out of textile and features an artistically woven-in arrow graphic. Lastly, this model rides on a set of 17-inch Scissor Spoke two-tone alloy wheels which are unique to this special edition model.
Once you open the doors, you’ll be greeted by brushed aluminum sills with “Sidewalk” lettering, while the seats are wrapped in anthracite leather surfaces are combined with contrasting seams in Petrol and Energetic Yellow. In addition, braided piping in Petrol and the “Sidewalk” logo add touches of individual style. The doormats have matching dark Petrol surrounds and Energetic Yellow seams. Lastly, there’s a special LED-lit decorative trim on the passenger side in piano black that’s complemented by Petrol and silver accents.
In conjunction with the Sidewalk Chili equipment package, the edition model also features LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, the interior lighting package as well as the Mini Driving Modes, automatic air conditioning, a height-adjustable front passenger seat and a storage package.
As mentioned, the Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is only available as a Cooper S variant. This means that this model is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. With this engine, the car can sprint from 0-100 kph in just 7.1 seconds all the way to a top speed of 230 kph.
The limited-edition Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is now on sale in the Philippines for P3,400,000.
