2021 GAC GN6 Three-Row MPV Now On Sale In PH, Starts At P1.480M

The 2021 GAC GN6 is a new competitor in the popular MPV segment. GAC's elegantly-designed MPV has a starting price of P1,480,000.

Legado Motors, Inc., the distributor of GAC Motor vehicles in the Philippines has finally launched the all-new 2021 GAC GN6. GAC Motor’s newest MPV is positioned to rival the Maxus G50 and even the recently-upgraded Toyota Innova. If you’re in the market for a three-row MPV, here’s what you need to know about the GAC GN6.

Among all the MPVs that are currently on sale in our market right now, the GAC GN6 is arguably one of the best looking of the bunch. The front end is dominated by a large grille with horizontal chrome bars, which are then flanked by halogen projector headlights. Moving towards the back, and you’ll see a pair of LED taillights that’s joined by an LED strip. 16-inch alloy wheels come as standard, along with a sunroof and passive entry with push-button start.

Dimensionally, the GAC GN6 measures 4,780 mm long, 1,860 mm wide and 1,730 mm tall, which puts it within range of what the Maxus G50 and Toyota Innova offer. Though, unlike the Toyota Innova, the GAC GN6 (and also the Maxus G50) uses a monocoque body rather than a body-on-frame construction.

Matching the 2021 GAC GN6’s elegant exterior is an equally elegant interior. Drivers will be greeted by a 7-inch digital gauge cluster and 8-inch touch screen infotainment system which are housed in a single panel for a clean look. It is also equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay and a 6-speaker system, so you can listen to your favorite playlist while on the road. Further uplifting the interior vibe of the GN6 is its leather seats, second-row captain’s chairs and 360-degree noise-canceling technology for a quieter ride. The GN6 also has a 324-liter trunk, which can be expanded to 1,100 liters by folding down the third-row seats–enough to fit in fourteen 20-inch luggage.

Under the hood of the GAC GN6 is a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 171 hp and 265 Nm of torque. While most of its rivals use a dual-clutch transmission, the GN6 uses a more conventional 6-speed automatic sourced from Japanese company Aisin.

Now, as for safety, the GN6 gets front dual SRS airbags, front side SRS airbags, stability control, traction control, hill start assist, hill descent control, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, parking sensors and a reverse camera.

The 2021 GAC GN6 is now on sale across all GAC Motor dealers nationwide with an SRP of P1,480,000. To entice buyers, GAC Motor is offering a special promo for its latest MPV. Until March 31, 2021, customers who will avail of the all-new GN6 will just need to pay a P50,000 reservation fee at their preferred GAC dealership and they will be given a discount
voucher worth P100,000, which will be deducted from its SRP. Apart from the discount voucher, the GN6 also comes with a 5-year/150,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first.
