All-New Honda XRM125 Now On Sale In PH, Starts At P67.9K

One of the pioneers of the underbone segment, the Honda XRM125, has been redesigned from the ground up and is now on sale nationwide.

The Honda XRM is arguably one of the most popular underbone motorbikes out there and one of the pioneers of the segment. If you are one of those who have been waiting for all-new, upgraded versions of the XRM lineup, then Honda’s got you covered. The all-new Honda XRM125 is here—and it is tougher, more durable, and versatile than ever before.

We have known the Honda XRM125 lineup as a trusty staple for both urban and off-road riding. This time, The all-new XRM125 comes equipped with a modern and tougher design, upgraded features, and more durable and tougher performance.

At first glance, the most noticeable upgrade is its headlight’s modern design, replicating that of its stablemate CRF150L. It has that more aggressive winker design that makes heads turn. Its digital speedometer also boasts a futuristic design with higher quality display and easy-to-read meter.

The all-new XRM125 has a tough modern image that is made even more remarkable with its masculine body shape and new stripes design in its cover. And, of course, it has that added Under Cowl that provides better protection, making the all-new XRM125 more durable, reliable, and tougher in performance.

The all-new Honda XRM125 is powered by an air-cooled, 125 cc, four-stroke Single Overhead Cam (SOHC) engine that makes for a maximum power of 9.54 HP @ 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.55 N.m @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a four-speed, constant mesh gearbox. It also has disc brakes fitted on both wheels, except for the Dual Sport variant, which has a combination of disc brakes for the front and drums for the rear. When it comes to fuel efficiency, the XRM125 has a claimed fuel economy of 65.4 km/L based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) and a fuel tank capacity of 3.9 liters.

The all-new Honda XRM125 comes in three variants: Dual Sport (DS), Dual Sport Extreme (DSX), and Motard. DS is perfect for off or unpaved roads and comes in distinct color variants such as Dark Green and Fighting Red, and the new colors, Ceramic Gray and Aura Blue. Its suggested retail price is P67,900.

On the other hand, the DSX and Motard are suited for the paved and unpaved roads. The XRM125 DSX comes in a Black color variant with a suggested retail price of P71,400 while the XRM125 Motard is painted in Fighting Red and carries a suggested retail price of P73,600.

The Honda XRM125 is a unique motorcycle model made exclusively in the Philippines. Since its production in December 2001, the total production volume has reached over 1.83 million units.
