Riding on the new DNGA platform (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) which is a derivative of Toyota’s TNGA platform for affordable cars, the Raize measures just 3,995 mm long, 1,695 m wide, and 1,620 mm tall. The Toyota Raize will come in 4 variants: 1.0 Turbo CVT, 1.2 G CVT, 1.2 E CVT, and 1.2 E MT, and starts at a retail price of P746,000 up to P1,036,000. Depending on the variant, the Raize will come in various color combinations, with the Turbo CVT variant being offered with two-tone colors including white and black, turquoise and black, and yellow and black.

The two engine choices for the Toyota Raize include a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 97 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque, while the base engine is a non-turbo 1.2-liter that produces 87 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The turbo motor comes exclusively with a CVT, while the 1.2-liter engine can be had with a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission.

Toyota Motor Philippines has already launched a dedicated website for the upcoming Raize at toyota.com.ph/raize. Likewise, interested customers can already book their interest or even reserve for one at the nearest Toyota dealership.
