One of the most awaited vehicles this 2022 will be officially arriving in just a few days – yes, that is the all-new Toyota Raize. Toyota’s newest entry into the subcompact SUV segment has piqued the interest of numerous Filipino car fans, enthusiasts, and customers. As early as now, customers can inquire in the nearest dealerships or with their preferred authorized marketing professional on how to get listed for reservations.
Riding on the new DNGA platform (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) which is a derivative of Toyota’s TNGA platform for affordable cars, the Raize measures just 3,995 mm long, 1,695 m wide, and 1,620 mm tall. The Toyota Raize will come in 4 variants: 1.0 Turbo CVT, 1.2 G CVT, 1.2 E CVT, and 1.2 E MT, and starts at a retail price of P746,000 up to P1,036,000. Depending on the variant, the Raize will come in various color combinations, with the Turbo CVT variant being offered with two-tone colors including white and black, turquoise and black, and yellow and black.
The two engine choices for the Toyota Raize include a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 97 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque, while the base engine is a non-turbo 1.2-liter that produces 87 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The turbo motor comes exclusively with a CVT, while the 1.2-liter engine can be had with a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission.
Toyota Motor Philippines has already launched a dedicated website for the upcoming Raize at toyota.com.ph/raize. Likewise, interested customers can already book their interest or even reserve for one at the nearest Toyota dealership.
