The 2022 Toyota Rush GR Sport (GR-S) is the latest vehicle in the brand’s stable to receive the Gazoo Racing Sport treatment. This new variant of the Rush subcompact SUV is now available in all of Toyota’s dealers for P1,176,000.
But what exactly do you get for P1,176,000? Based on the 1.5 G variant, the Toyota Rush GR Sport has been dressed up with a GR-branded front bumper spoiler, rear bumper spoiler, and side body molding. It comes in three Only three colors are offered in this variant: Dark Red Mica Metallic, Black Metallic 1, and White 2. As for the rest of the vehicle, the Rush GR-S is riding on the same 17-inch wheels as the G variant, while its other features include LED headlights and taillights and smart entry with push-button start.
The interior of the Toyota Rush GR Sport remains unchanged compared to the standard model, which means you still get a 7-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an 8-speaker audio system, just to name a few. Safety features for the Rush GR Sport include ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, reverse camera, and rear parking sensors.
Just like every other GR-S model, don’t expect any performance upgrades. Its 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine still produces 104 hp and 136 Nm of torque, and this is mated to a four-speed automatic, powering the rear wheels.
