Lexus Philippines has given the IS 350 F Sport a host of upgrades for the 2023 model year, which in turn makes their luxury sports sedan an even more driver-oriented vehicle. This, however, comes with a higher price tag to match these upgrades.
For starters, the exterior of the 2023 Lexus IS 350 F Sport is now more aggressive to look at, thanks to the addition of 19-inch forged alloy wheels that are 10% lighter than the previous wheels. This lowers the vehicle’s unsprung mass, and thus improves handling.
Also new for 2023 is the addition of a limited-slip differential (LSD), which should make the IS 350 F Sport even better at powering out of corners. LSDs send power to the wheel with the most grip, thus making the IS 350 F Sport an even more formidable luxury sports sedan at this point.
Apart from the handling upgrades, Lexus Philippines also gave the new IS 350 F Sport added safety features, namely blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking. This comes on top of the standard suite of Lexus Safety System+ features, which include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and full-speed adaptive cruise control.
The rest of the package remains the same, which means the 2023 Lexus IS 350 F Sport is still powered by a 3.5-liter naturally-aspirated V6 that produces 315 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. This is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic.
The 2023 Lexus IS 350 F Sport is now available for viewing at the Lexus Manila showroom at Bonifacio Global City. These upgrades also mean an increase in price, which is now at P4,178,000.
