The 2023 Honda BR-V is arriving very soon in the Philippines. As a matter of fact, dealers have already begun taking orders for the Japanese automaker’s highly-anticipated seven-seater crossover/MPV thing. The only thing that’s missing is pricing, at least until now.
That’s because Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) today has unveiled the full pricing of the new BR-V. We already mentioned that it comes in three variants (or four when counting the transmission choices), which are listed below. This also includes the following prices, which also happen to be the highest in the segment.
- BR-V 1.5 S MT: P1,100,000
- BR-V 1.5 S CVT: P1,190,000
- BR-V 1.5 V CVT: P1,300,000
- BR-V 1.5 VX CVT: P1,390,000
What’s left for us to decipher at this point is the differences in specs of each variant. Normally, HCPI adds “Honda Sensing” to the name of the variant that’s equipped with its suite of advanced driver-assistance tech, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for the 2023 Honda BR-V. Still, the model that was previewed at the 2022 Philippine International Motor Show came with Honda Sensing as standard.
Some of the other features from the BR-V show car include full LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Though unconfirmed, the vehicle that was on display will most likely be the top-of-the-line VX, which comes with all the aforementioned bells and whistles.
The 2023 Honda BR-V is going to be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 120 hp and 145 Nm of torque, which is mated to either a CVT or an available 6-speed manual on the entry-level S variant.
