2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Quietly Arrives In PH, Starts At P7.702M

The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe has finally arrived in the Philippines, and it can be yours starting at P7,702,888 for the Z71 4x4.

Initially available for reservations since last year, the new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe has finally arrived in the Philippines. The arrival of the full-size, all-American SUV was first announced near the end of 2020, which meant it took nearly two years for the Tahoe to finally reach Philippine dealers. Anyhow, without further ado, here are all the things that you need to know about the new Tahoe.

Two variants will be sold: a rugged Z71 4×4 (as shown) and a luxurious High Country. Starting with what’s common with both variants, the LED headlights are now smaller, which are then flanked by boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights. The side profile features a redesigned greenhouse and a striking line that runs on top of the side windows. Meanwhile, the rear fascia gets a more elegant design which is finished off by a pair of striking LED taillights.

Those who want a full-size SUV that looks like it’s ready to rumble will appreciate the Z71’s mesh grille, red tow hooks, underbody protection, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires. On the other hand, the more luxurious High Country comes with a horizontal chrome grille, a more road-biased, lower front bumper, and larger 22-inch alloy wheels.

Step inside, and you will be greeted by a completely different interior compared to its predecessor. Thanks to its all-new platform, the interior room–especially in the third row, has been significantly improved. Cargo space is up by a whopping 66 percent, while legroom for the third-row seats is also up by 254 mm. As for features, there’s a 10.2-inch MyLink infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 15-inch head-up display for the driver, a Bose Performance Series sound system, and 12.6-inch touch screens for the second- and third-row occupants, just to name a few.

Under the hood of the all-new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe is a 5.3-liter V8 petrol engine that produces 355 hp and 518 Nm of torque. This is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Aside from the V8, it also comes with Magnetic Ride Control and Adaptive Air Ride Suspension to enhance the ride quality, steering responsiveness, and overall driver control of the Tahoe.

As for safety, the new Tahoe comes with a 360-degree camera, along with a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) that includes Forward Collision Alert, Front and Rear Pedestrian Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Rear Park Assist Sensors with Camera. Unfortunately, it does miss out on radar-guided adaptive cruise control.

The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe is now available at all dealers nationwide for P7,702,888 for the Z71 4×4, while the High Country is available for P8,692,888.
